XtremeDocumentStudio Delphi is our next-generation multi-format document-processing component suite for Delphi. XtremeDocumentStudio currently enables you to integrate the following functionality in your applications:

• Viewing, Printing, and Conversion of PDF, DOCX, DOC, RTF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, WMF, EMF, and single-page and multi-page TIFF files in VCL applications.
• Viewing PDF, DOCX, DOC, RTF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, and single-page TIFF files on Windows, Mac and iOS in FMX applications.
• Viewing DOC, RTF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, and single-page TIFF files on Android in FMX applications.
• High-quality Report-Export from various Delphi reporting tools such as FastReport, QuickReport, ReportBuilder and ACE Reporter. Output formats include PDF, PDF/A, XLSX, RTF, HTML, XHTML, TXT, SVG, PNG, JPEG and GIF. PDF/A support includes compliance with PDF/A 1b, 2b, and 3b versions. PDF/A-3b support complies with ZUGFeRD electronic invoicing standard.

The Report-Export capability in XtremeDocumentStudio has evolved from our earlier generation product, eDocEngine. Literally, thousands of our eDocEngine customers deploy their applications with this Report-Export capability included in their applications. This is a feature used day in and day out by the end-users of those applications. In XtremeDocumentStudio, we have made it even easier to implement report-export capability in your applications.

Exporting reports to PDF can have many subtleties. The qualities of the output PDF become important when you need to repurpose them or use them in other workflows. Here are some important qualities of the PDF files generated by exporting reports using XtremeDocumentStudio:

• Vector rendering of RTF, chart and metafile content for compact output, and high-resolution printing and scalability without loss of quality.
• Vector output of RTF and metafiles with text output as text, to preserve text search capability.
• Optimized font embedding for compact output files.
• Optimized and complete encoding of Unicode information for text, to allow text search on Unicode text.
• Automatic, fast deduplication of images for compact output files. Useful for reports with large number of pages where header images are identical across pages.
