Gnostice XtremeDocumentStudio Delphi is the next-generation multi-format document-processing component suite for Delphi/C++Builder developers. Currently, it supports viewing, printing, and converting PDF, DocX, BMP, JPEG, PNG, WMF, EMF, and single-page and multi-page TIFF.

XtremeDocumentStudio provides the following components for processing documents:

• TgtDocumentViewer - document viewer
• TgtDBDocumentViewer - database document viewer
• TgtDocumentPrinter - document printer
• TgtDocumentConversion - document conversion

Create a Multi-format Database Document-viewer Application

To get started with the database document viewer component, try these steps:

1. Start Delphi IDE.
2. Create a new VCL Forms Application project.
3. Drop the following components on the form.
   • TgtDBDocumentViewer
   • TDBNavigator
   • TADOTable
   • TDataSource

4. Select the TADOTable component. In the Object Inspector, set the ConnectionString property to the AccountingApp.mdb Access database in the {Your-Documents-Folder}\Gnostice\XtremeDocumentStudio Delphi\Demos\Common Files\Data\ folder. (A table in this database contains documents stored in in a memo (BLOB) field.) Set Table property to Expenses table. Set the Active property to True.
5. Select the TDataSource component and then set its DataSet property to the TADOTable component.
6. Select the TDBNavigator and set its DataSource property to the TDataSource component.
7. Select the TgtDBDocumentViewer component. Set the DataSource property to TDataSource instance. Set its DataField to the ExpensesDocuments.
8. Save the project and run it.
